NFL 10

December 2nd, 2007 by ep

Posting this a little early, with games still going on this weekend, but I feel pretty safe.

Here they are, ep’s top 5 and bottom 5 NFL teams (as usual, agree or disagree, let me know why below):

Top 5

1. New England

Duh, the only question is, will they go undefeated?

2. Indianapolis

They gave the Patriots a game and have the best shot of knocking them off their pedestal.

3. Dallas

Beating the Packers moves them up to third. I thought Green Bay was going to beat them, but I was wrong. They are the cream of the NFC crop. I bet things would have been different if Brett Favre played the whole game on Thursday.

4. Steelers

If you can find ways to win that slopfest against the Dolphins and you’re already 9-3, you’ve got a lot of things going well for you.

5. Green Bay

I put them above four-loss Jacksonville and the Giants, simply because despite losing Favre they still gave Dallas a tough test and only have 2 losses.

Bottom 5

1. Miami

Worst team in the NFL. You’ve gotta pity Dolphins fans

2. San Francisco

The 49ers are supposed to be an up-and-coming team, instead they’re just making everyone throw up.

3. Atlanta

Do you really think there is a single team in the NFL that wouldn’t smile if they saw Atlanta the following week on their schedule.

4. Kansas City

Without Larry Johnson, this team is only half a team. I can’t pick them any week until he comes back.

5. Jets

This was a tough one, there are a couple teams “deserving” of this spot, Oakland, St. Louis, but the Jets just played the Dolphins and Miami had a 13-10 lead against them at one point this Sunday. Guilt by association.
