AFC Championship: Stepping up

Patriots beat the Chargers, big surprise. This was a fun game to watch though.

This game was supposed to be about monster skill players — Brady to Moss, LT, Antonio Gates — and eventually it was a TD thrown by Brady that was the winning score.
But for me, there were some awesome subplots here. Did you see Asante Samuel and Quentin Jammer just playing out of their minds? How about Kevin Faulk and Chris Chambers? They each had five catches by halftime.
I was disappointed LT only played for two series. I realize it was a knee injury and he is the franchise, but with Chambers playing the way he was and Gates on the field, I think LT would have given SD more than the Patriots could defend. Maybe the Chargers could have held the ball a little more in the second half too.
