RBI returns: No rumors, just facts
Yes, the greatest early baseball game is making it’s return some time soon to the Xbox 360′s Live Arcade.
Thanks to Achieve360points.com, one of my favorite sites, for the tip. They have the scoop on the achievements Six Degrees Games’ RBI Baseball will have. Thoughts about this game, and complete list of achievements, after the break.
This one of my favorite games of all time. It was the first baseball game that had real players’ names in it. Many a quarter was dropped into the this game at the arcade and many hours were wasted on the old Nintendo Entertainment System playing it.
Being able to play as the pros was only part of what made it great, every lineup was stacked with awesome players capable of homers and some pitchers were just plain nasty. The Mets, Cardinals, Giants, A’s, Tigers, Angels… Every team was fun to play with. Yes the game is simple compared to what we have today, but for an arcade title, this game is going to rock a lot of faces.
I know I’m going to have a lot of fun acquiring most of these achievements (Pitch a perfect game? Will not happen against the computer):
