NFL 7: Titans are the best team in football?

Reviewing the NFL’s top 3 teams, bottom 3 teams and one team to watch

Top teams

  1. Titans. They’re the only unbeaten team in the NFL and they’ve only allowed 56 points through five games. Kinda hard to argue with that.
  2. Giants. Consider the game against the Browns a hiccup. They are 4-0 and have outscored opponents 127-49 when they’re not playing the Browns
  3. Steelers. Picked them (4-1) over the Bills (4-1) and Buccaneers (4-2) because they’ve only allowed opponents to score 79 points against them this season, second best in the league.

Bottom teams

  1. Lions. No. 1 overall pick, here we come. (0-5)
  2. Bengals. They have a worse record (0-6) than the Lions because they’ve played one more game. But they’ve also allowed less points to opponents despite that.
  3. Rams. Owners of the most pathetic offense in the league — 62 points in five games. That’s a little more than 12 points per game for 1-4 St. Louis.

Hits/Misses reviewed at Chinstrap Ninjas

I just reviewed my hits and misses from last week over at www.chinstrapninjas.com.

If you have not yet checked out the site, please do. Here is an excerpt from my review:

I tried to stay away from the absolute sure things, that’s why I didn’t pick any Giants against the Browns… I finished 3-3, .500 as expected, but I had one miss that was monumentally awful.

I picked the Patriots’ Ben Watson as a big hitter, he responded with 0 yards on exactly 0 catches. Not even a 1-for-12 that would have netted PPRers 2.2 points. It should be marked down as three misses in one, but fortunately for my record, that’s not how it works.

Halo 3-Recon

That’s right, I can rate it right now and call it a 10. Yes, I’m biased, but in the game industry Bungie Studios may as well be King Midas.

Here is the video reveal for the company’s latest, and many times teased, endeavor, courtesy of Joystiq.

There is no doubt in my mind that Halo 3: Recon, revealed with the tagline “New hero, new campaign. Prepare to drop,” is going to rock our faces to jelly. Here

Let me explain why:
