NFL 7: Titans are the best team in football?

Reviewing the NFL’s top 3 teams, bottom 3 teams and one team to watch

Top teams

  1. Titans. They’re the only unbeaten team in the NFL and they’ve only allowed 56 points through five games. Kinda hard to argue with that.
  2. Giants. Consider the game against the Browns a hiccup. They are 4-0 and have outscored opponents 127-49 when they’re not playing the Browns
  3. Steelers. Picked them (4-1) over the Bills (4-1) and Buccaneers (4-2) because they’ve only allowed opponents to score 79 points against them this season, second best in the league.

Bottom teams

  1. Lions. No. 1 overall pick, here we come. (0-5)
  2. Bengals. They have a worse record (0-6) than the Lions because they’ve played one more game. But they’ve also allowed less points to opponents despite that.
  3. Rams. Owners of the most pathetic offense in the league — 62 points in five games. That’s a little more than 12 points per game for 1-4 St. Louis.

Three months later, you’re still right.
Aren’t we all going to be wishing we had a Titans and Giants matchup in the Super Bowl? The Kerry Collins revenge bowl that never happened.
Gotta love the parody of the playoffs, but come one, Arizona and Philly in the NFL Championship. Man, how we all must suffer!
At least the AFC has explosive offenses, well, not really!
