Halo: Reach Multiplayer Madness video. Go. Now
So, while researching my next fantasy baseball post at www.chinstrapninjas.com, I went searching for some background noise, namely a video game podcast.
I figured I’d also check the headlines over at www.giantbomb.com — I’m sure you’ve all heard about the messy firings over at Infinity Ward — and stumbled across the headline: Multiplayer madness in Halo: Reach.
It took a second for the shock to wear off, then I clicked on the video. Then I replayed it. And replayed it again. Then I watched it in full screen. In Hi-Def. Then I watched it again in HD. And again.
I wasted almost a half hour rewatching the same minute-and-a-half long video.
It is the most badass video game video I’ve seen in a long time. It’s probably the best one since the Halo 3 launch trailer — one I still have saved on my desktop.
So, here’s the link to Giant Bomb’s post. Eventually I’ll put the video on here, but for now, GB deserves every click they get. I saw it there first.
Analysis? Yes, I have analysis. But first let’s all go and devour it a few more times.
And if you’re still on the bubble, Halo fans — and Modern Warfare fans, for that matter — I’ve got three bullet points that have me super ultra excited:
- Freaking sticky grenade launcher!
- Loadouts (as, I assume, seen in Killzone 2, Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield Bad Company and, again assuming, complete with unlocks, and level-ups)
- There’s a FREAKING STICKY GRENADE LAUNCHER!
