These are only my opinions, but I’ve played a lot of games. No number based ratings (5/5 or 98/100) here, just a strict buy it, rent it, or forget about it policy. For the record, I play mostly sports titles, but like to mix in some racing and action games. I’m also a Halo/Call of Duty nut. If you’re likes and dislikes fall anywyere in that realm, you’ll probably find these opinions very useful.
Xbox 360
- NHL 07 - A great game… for a while. (Rent before you buy)
- Call of Duty 3 - Overall a fun game, but there are issues… and better FPSs (Rent)
- Devil May Cry 4 - Awesome bosses, but didn’t live up to hype. (Rent it)
- Gears of War 2 - This is one of 2008’s must-buys. Truly Epic (Buy or Rent)
